Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 1, 2026  |  Last Updated: September 5, 2026

JLT Fieldhouse, Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy of our campers, families, and supporters. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you interact with our programs, website, and services.

Our commitments

We collect the least we need. We ask for the smallest amount of information that lets a program run safely and lets a parent stay informed.

We never sell information about a child or a family. Not to anyone, at any price, under any structure.

We never use it for advertising, for profiling, or to train artificial intelligence systems.

We delete on a schedule. Nothing is kept indefinitely. The schedule is in section 6 below.

Every adult who works with young people in our programs is background screened, trained, and accountable.

1 Who We Are

JLT Fieldhouse, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded by Antwaun "Coach T" Thompson, dedicated to empowering young people through basketball coaching, mentoring, and personal development programs. Our services include summer basketball camps, the S.E.A. of Success® program, the Beyond the Classroom virtual enrichment program, and related youth leadership initiatives.

For privacy related inquiries, contact us at: coacht@jltfieldhouse.org

2 Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of personal information:

  • Contact information, name, email address, phone number, and mailing address of parents, guardians, or participants.
  • Participant information, camper name, age, grade, school, emergency contact details, and any medical or health information relevant to participation.
  • Registration and payment data, camp registration details, payment records, and family discount eligibility.
  • Communications, messages sent to us via email, social media, or our website contact forms.
  • Website usage data, IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically via standard web analytics tools.

3 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process camp registrations and manage participant enrollment.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians about schedules, updates, and announcements.
  • Ensure the health and safety of all participants during our programs.
  • Process payments and apply applicable family discounts.
  • Send newsletters, program updates, and promotional communications (you may opt out at any time).
  • Improve our programs, services, and website experience.
  • Fulfill grant reporting or nonprofit compliance obligations.

4 How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share your information with trusted service providers (such as payment processors or registration platforms) solely to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, and only under confidentiality agreements.

To be specific about what we never do: we never sell information about a child or a family, to anyone, under any structure. We never use it for targeted advertising. We never use it to build a profile of a child for any purpose unrelated to our programs. We never use it to develop or train artificial intelligence or machine learning systems. Any service provider that receives it is required in writing to protect it to the same standard.

5 Children's Privacy

JLT Fieldhouse programs serve minors (children under 18). We collect information about minor participants only from their parents or legal guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

If you believe a child's information has been provided to us without proper consent, please contact us immediately at coacht@jltfieldhouse.org.

Some of our participants are under the age of 13. Where a child under 13 is enrolled directly with us online, we give the parent or guardian a direct notice describing exactly what we will collect and why, and we obtain that parent’s verifiable consent before we collect anything. Where a school or district enrolls a group, the school directs the collection and provides the authorization, and we operate only within the scope the school sets.

Permissions are never bundled. A parent can agree to a program and decline photographs, or agree to a program and decline any sharing with a partner organization, and declining has no effect at all on a child’s participation, placement, or standing.

6 How Long We Keep Information

We keep information only as long as we need it, and nothing is retained indefinitely. This schedule takes effect October 1, 2026, and governs information held on and after that date. You may ask us to delete sooner, and we will, except where the law requires us to keep something.

7 Beyond the Classroom

Beyond the Classroom is our virtual enrichment program for students in grades 6 through 12. Enrollment and all student information for that program are handled through the Coach T’s Corner® website, and JLT Fieldhouse, Inc. is the organization responsible for that information.

Because that program collects more about a student than our camps do, including attendance, assessment responses, and live session participation, it has its own full notice covering the children’s privacy section and the complete retention schedule. You can read it at coachtscorner.com/privacy.

Where to write about Beyond the Classroom. For anything relating to that program, including a request to see, correct, or delete a student’s information, or to withdraw a permission you gave us, write to coacht@coachtscorner.com. We acknowledge within 5 business days and complete within 30 calendar days. Use that address rather than the general one above, so a request about a student reaches the right place the first time.

One thing worth naming here. The Student Workbook and Reflection Journal in that program belongs to the student. We do not collect it, we do not upload it, and we do not read it. That is a deliberate design decision and it will not change.

8 Photos and Media

JLT Fieldhouse may photograph or record video during camp activities for promotional use on our website, social media channels, and program materials. By registering for a camp or program, you consent to this use unless you notify us in writing prior to the event. Photos or videos of minor participants require written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

9 Third Party Links

Our website or communications may contain links to third party websites such as social media platforms or registration tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their individual privacy policies.

10 Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access and review the personal information we hold about you or your child.
  • Request corrections to inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable legal and operational obligations.
  • Opt out of marketing or promotional communications at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in our emails.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at coacht@jltfieldhouse.org.

11 Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
